Hannes Weigel is a freelance lighting designer and operator based in Berlin and Erfurt.

Growing up in a recording studio environment, he was introduced to music and touring musicians at an early age, which later led to his passion for live concerts and the support they require through lighting and video.

He began working in a variety of positions in the event industry before successfully completing a Bachelor of Engineering degree at the 'Berlin University of Applied Sciences' (BHT) in 2022, in the field of 'Event Technology and Management'.

Since 2016 he has been working with various bands from Germany, as a lighting technician, operator or designer on their tours through Germany, Europe and the rest of the world.

In 2020 he also turns to the creation of light- and video installations.
